Travel inland through the rural areas of Zululand to visit the Battlefield of Isandlwana, where on the slopes of the strangely shaped hill of that name, the British colonial forces suffered a humiliating defeat by an overwhelming force of Zulu warriors. 

Then, after a lunch stop, we go on to the site of the famous and heroic defence of the old mission station by a remnant of the British troops at Rorkes Drift, known as “the brave 100”; this battle was also the theme of the film “Zulu”.
